At each monthly
members vote
for their
favourite doll
during the "Show
and Tell" part of
the meeting.
Generally there
is a theme for
the month but
members also
display their
current
creations!!
Western Dollmakers Inc, Cloth Doll Association, commenced in
1996 and has supported numerous members in Perth, Western
Australia, to enhance and refine their cloth dollmaking skills.

Our club aims to foster Cloth Dollmaking in Western Australia and
to offer support and friendship to members.

We provide help in all aspects of dollmaking including
demonstrations and workshops which form part of our monthly
meetings.

Our website will be continually updated with images of events,
workshops and "Show and Tell" works of art. If you would like

workshop with a completed doll.

WHAT IS INCLUDED These dolls have three shapes that you can choose from (all are included in your pattern.) They are
designed to teach several of the basic techniques of doll making, e.g., hands and faces. Most people will have a finished project
by the end of class.

PLEASE NOTE : Class size is limited, so please confirm with Michelle prior to attendance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Your sewing machine in good working order, Stuffing (the one from spotlight is good)
50cm of freezer paper (also from spotlight, this is kept under the dress counter) Flesh coloured thread, Different colours of
thread for body. Something for hair, this can be some funky wool, braid or mohair. Sewing scissors. Paper scissors. Pins. Lead
pencil. Hand sewing needles. A chopstick for stuffing. Wire cutters. And your lunch.

Michelle will be providing
Head fabric. A fat ¼ of printed fabric for the body. Chenille sticks (pipe cleaners) for the hands. Wire for armature.
Pattern and class notes. Tea & Coffee. Michelle will also have pencils, pens and tools to share or to purchase if you like.
