Rules and Conditions of entry
1.The theme of the 2011 challenge is “Enchanted Forest” and may be interpreted
in any way you like. Creativity and originality are encouraged and interpretation of
design criteria will be important in the judging. General skill and workmanship will be
taken into account as a secondary factor. This is to be considered an artistic
challenge – not a formal sewing competition.

2.Entries must not have been entered in any other competition.

3 Entries are to be cloth based and may incorporate mixed media.

4.Entries can be original or adapted from a pattern and may have human or animal
features.

5. Each entry is to come complete with some sort of support e.g. a doll stand unless
it can sit or stand unaided. Our aim is to display your entry to its’ best advantage.

6. All maker’s identification marks or labels must be removed or covered for the
competition. You will be allotted a number after receipt of your entry money. This
number is to be marked clearly on a piece of cloth with a permanent pen and
attached to the bottom of the doll. E.g. under one foot or on their bottom if sitting.
All items accompanying the entry should also be clearly identified with this number.

7. Entries will be handled with the utmost care and the display will be supervised at
all times but responsibility for insurance rests with the entrant. By entering  the
competition it is understood that organisers of the challenge and True Blue
Exhibitions are released from all actions, proceedings, claims and demands arising
from any loss or damage to goods whilst in the custody or under the control of the
organisers.

8. It is to be understood that the entries will be on display and members of the
public will be permitted to take photographs of the entries for personal use. The
organizers and True Blue Exhibitions reserve the right to enable magazines to
